REI prepurchase Starting Dec 1, REI members ($15 for lifetime membership) can prepurchase discounted lift tickets at any of their Bay Area stores. You should call first to confirm availability. Northstar/Sierra tickets can also be exchanged for adult or child beginner ski or snowboard packages ($89-$102 value!) When used at Sierra as a lift ticket, you also get a $5 food/rentals/services voucher. (Note that Alpine tickets are not discounted, but are direct-to-lift tickets, so you can avoid waiting in line or sell-outs.) Sugar Bowl tickets will require an $11 "upgrade" at the ticket window for holiday use. |
